Starting to look like Spring!!

So sorry i have not been posting... Ive been super busy with the steers these day's but things will slow down soon i promise.....

 

I am super duper excited for spring not to mention Fabulous new spring line of chic new clothes but the weather is going to be BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Plus that means FLIP FLOPS oh i just love them!!

I also have a few new things that i just cant live with out these day's....

STARBUCKS PASSION LEMONADE TEA...

OMG it is delish

This was a huge deal for me to try this because I'm usually the kind of person who gets the same thing over and over again and won't dare try anything new!! Well guys i did it i took a huge risk and it was a SCORE yaaayyyy mee :)

Another thing i happen to love right now is green tea but this one is my fav.

I usually don't like green tea but since i cant stand to drink ANY kind of soft drink what so ever i have started branching out a bunch :)  You should defiantly try this!!!

Anyways, I have been spending a lot of time outside these past few day's in Shorts yes you read that

right i said shorts in February i know but i do live in South Texas and its 75 degrees outside :) Once i noticed the fact that my legs are BLINDING white i decided i better break out the self tanner...

I love this one...

Its about the only one i have found that doesn't turn you that ugly orange color...

but when all else fails its time to hit the tanning beds!!

But until then i'll just sit outside with my white legs and enjoy a great book and my green tea...

Okay so i made these a few days ago but they are great you must try them!!

There called Oreo Cake Balls...

Here's the recipe if you would like to try them there super easy to make...

1 package of crushed Oreos

1 8oz package of Cream Cheese

1 package of White Chocolate Chips

1/4 cup Milk Chocolate Chips

Start by crushing up all your oreo's. I used a blender it's much faster. After blending all your Oreo's in a large bowl mix your cream cheese and Oreo's together. Make sure that your Cream Cheese is pretty soft, about room temperature will do. Once it is mixed they should be kind of sticky start by rolling them into small bite size balls. Set them onto a piece of wax paper until you have them all rolled into balls. Then Melt your white chocolate chips. You can dip or use a spoon to cover them in White Chocolate, I used a spoon. Then let them sit for about 15 Min's. to dry. Next melt your Milk Chocolate and put it in a plastic baggie or piping bag, and drizzle over the top.

There you have it Oreo Cake Balls!!!

They are the prefect Valentines Treat!!

L.O.V.E.

Today, as i sit here and try to write an entire blog about this four letter word that turns people head over heels high fashioned heels that is and i think to myself just what exactly does this word mean to me??

 L.O.V.E. ........ I mean really the first thing that comes to mind is kisses and hearts and well Valentines Day!!! When actually that isn't what it means at all.... This little word L.O.V.E. is way more important than just hearts, Candy and Red Roses...

 This word changes peoples lives FOREVER!!! I love the word and everything that goes along with it. This word truly makes me have butterflies in my tummy and makes me jump up and down, sometimes this word makes you cry and laugh as well. Today this word makes me think.... It makes me think of all the good and bad times it has brought along with it. All the tears and time Ive spent crying over it.. Lets just say today has not been one of those extra special mushy lovey days.. It's been a thinking about the future and how this love will stand the test of time and all the bumps down the road they call this thing called life...

Anyways DENVER was a blast we all had a great time meeting new friends and making memories with old ones... Oh and i having bragging rights i was you Reserve Grand Champion Steer at NWSS.....

Yep that's me and Black Betty!!!! Thank you to everyone for making this a dream come true it was an amazing feeling that i will remember for the rest of my life..

The Brown place hotel was amazing.. I'm so grateful Brock and i got to share this experience together..

What do you take for granted?

The smallest things in life give me the greatest inspireations. Things most people just over look and don't find them in your everyday life. I try to look for these things everyday and see the good in them. I wonder sometimes how many things in life do we actually take for granted each day. ALOT im sure!!

Like feet puppy and people feet... Yeah i know there just feet to most but to some they could change someones whole world.. I mean think about it what if you woke up tomorrow without any how would it change your life? Not only your looks but the changelles you would have to go threw each day.

So thank you, Thank you god for smelly feet haha

To most people this is just a diamond braclet but to me this means the world.

That he took the time to pick this out for me.

So i Ask you what have you been taking for granted?

Hope in a Jar....

Today I look for hope, the kind of hope that could change things. Big Things!!! Those Buckles are hope to me hope in a jar. That hope changes things and that kind of hope is what i am looking for this year!!

So I have decided that everything that happens in life is usually left up to God and this time i plan on leaving everything in his hands. I'll do my best and let God do the rest.

Anyways we leave for Denver in 6 more days!!! Yup and im pretty pumped, i mean like that little kid waking up on Christmas morning kind of PUMPED!!

Suitcases packed and we are off!!!

But one thing is forsure i am going to miss sadie very very much she followed me around all day while i was packing. It was so sad that she knows im leaving.

I can't wait to see what all this new year has to offer so once again BRING IN ON 2011!!!

Learning New Things and Taking On New Challenges

I can't believe that 2010 is already over. It has truly been one wild and crazy ride, i have learned more about life this year than one person can possibly learn in 10!!!

I first should truly thank god for all the things he has given me this past year. Some of them i think he just threw at me from left field just to simply see how i would react to them, But others not always bad but truly wonderful things he has blessed me with so Thank you, Thank you God for showing me the true meanings of life and love.

I know in this new year to come there will be curves just like this road outside my house and yes I'm sure there will be pot holes and bumps as well , But when i sit here and think to myself every bump, curve and pot hole always seem to teach us something. I am truly very interested to find out what god has in store for my life not only in this new year but for the rest of my life.

Most of all I cant wait to see what this little boy will teach me this year!! Sometimes i wonder why things happen to certain people and not others (i plan on asking God that one day) because i truly just do not understand why is precious face has to go through so much just to get threw the day. He is truly my sunshine on a rainy day and i love him with all my heart.

As a year closes and another one begins i look back on all the special things that have happened and in the end life is just footprints in the sand, cold, sandy, rocky, hot and sunny, you never know what your gonna get!!

Be grateful for the simple things you take for granted every day because one they just might not be there anymore..
